Chinese New Year Celebrations – Tampines

ChildFirst @ Tampines was filled with the excitement of Chinese New Year today! The teachers put up a simple skit on the traditions and practices of Chinese New Year, while the K2 children added to the festive mood with their lion dance performance. The children and their families bonded over crafts activities and even made pineapple tarts. There were also lots of Chinese New Year goodies for sharing. It was an awesome morning for everyone as we prepare to usher in the “Year of the Monkey”.
