We are delighted to be awarded “Best in Trilingualism” by the Parents World panel of judges which included a visit to ChildFirst @ Tampines.
Children at ChildFirst are exposed to three languages right from the start: English, Mandarin and Coding, making it a truly trilingual programme – a first for any preschool in Singapore. To impart this future-ready learning, ChildFirst accords equal importance to the three tenets of intelligence – Human Intelligence (HI), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Multiple Intelligence (MI). The idea is to prepare the children for the challenges in the real world – both known and unknown, as occupations will continue to evolve over time.
ChildFirst’s iUnique curriculum exposes children to Computational Thinking, Coding, Robotics and Virtual Reality (VR) as part of their Artificial Intelligence preparedness. ChildFirst is equipping its students with unique skill sets that can help them master the machine rather than be replaced by it. At the same time, the curriculum taps on Human Intelligence, expressed in the form of soft skills, moral values and Emotional Quotient (EQ). This includes traits such as resilience, tenacity, common sense and sense of judgement. This also includes qualities of leadership, team spirit, creativity and critical thinking placing humans in a league that cannot be invaded by AI. At ChildFirst, teachers identify these unique personality traits of children by profiling them on the basis of certain responses and then work to nurture them.
