ChildFirst Robotics & Coding Championship 2023

The finals of ChildFirst’s inaugural Robotics & Coding Championship 2023 was held this morning, a week after the semi-finals were held in our individual schools. Over 100 of our Kindergarten 2 children and their families came together for today’s event. The children and parents participated in various coding activities at our games stations such as coding a robot to hit the bowling pins and coding a robot to hunt for treasure, whilst the top 9 teams from the semi-finals competed live in a series of coding challenges. In the end, Team Brave emerged the winner. This Championship was never about just winning. Ultimately, our goal was to provide our K2 children the opportunity to showcase their coding skills, creativity, problem solving skills, sportsmanship and confidence on a bigger stage. Indeed, we are all proud of what they have achieved through this event. Well done to our K2 teachers and children! You are all winners in our eyes!
