Hay Dairies Farm – Mountbatten



Whenever children are asked “Which animal produces milk?”, the answer is inevitably “cow”. The excursion to Hay Dairies Farm gave our ChildFirst @ Mountbatten Kindergarten 2 children an opportunity to meet another animal producer of milk, goats! It was an eye opener for many of the children to learn about the different types of dairy goats and to see the process of goat’s milk production. The highlight of the trip was the sampling of fresh goat’s milk!
