In the last 4 years, we have seen so much transformation in Evan’s learning and character building journey.
Dear Cynthia,
As parents of Evan we are filled with mixed emotions as Evan ends his journey at ChildFirst next week. Happy that he is advancing to the next stage of his education, yet sad he will be leaving this group of friends and teachers he has grown so fond of.
It seems not too long ago when our 18th month toddler first step foot into the Centre during the open house you hosted in 2011. To be honest, we were apprehensive about placing our child in the pioneer batch of a new childcare in Singapore with no local track record. However, we were impressed by your professionalism when we spoke to you that Saturday. It also helped that the school’s physical environment was impressive, with plenty of space and a primary school modelled classroom concept. The focus on bilingualism and that fact that the man behind ChildFirst, Dr Yen, is a seasoned curriculum developer, won us over from several other options we were exploring. Well we are glad to share that we never regretted that decision!
In the last 4 years, we have seen so much transformation in Evan’s learning and character building journey. From a toddler with much anxiety to a curious boy loving art, play and learning; his development can be seen in both the short and long term. As parents this often amazes us at each point of observation.
At the early stages, you have shared with us your confidence and warmth whenever we had concerns. Along the way you were always open about sharing the school’s directions with us. We truly believe you deserve the recognition now as the Group Principal of the bigger entity. Kudos as well to the many dedicated teachers and staff of ChildFirst Mountbatten who have nurtured and taken care of Evan. They have established a strong name for the school in the past 4 years.
On behalf of Evan, thank you and your staff at ChildFirst Mountbatten for the wonderful experience!
