West Coast Park 2014- Dunearn

West Coast Park is the perfect excursion venue for our adventurous and enthusiastic Kindergarten 1 and 2 children. The park’s wide expanse of space allowed our kindergarteners to run freely and laugh heartily. The excursion presented many opportunities to teach our children about perseverance, team-spirit, creativity, resiliency, sportsmanship as well as pushing your boundary to scale greater heights. Kite-flying is one of the activities the children did. It went beyond good clean fun as the children not only developed creative thinking (best way or method to fly it), they also learnt to concentrate and focus. During sand play, the children further strengthened their problem-solving skills and let their creativity flow. They also played a relay game which provided opportunities for them to value competition, sportsmanship and cooperation to achieve a common goal.
