Dear ChildFirst,

I am Tetiana Kodliuk, the mom of Yaryna Kodliuk who just graduated from ChildFirst @ Mountbatten. I want to sincerely express my gratefulness to all the teachers and administration staff at ChildFirst for being so helpful, competent and responsive during these last 2.5 years.

Yarynka joined the school when she was 3.5 years old, right after our relocation from Ukraine. She spoke neither English nor Chinese back then, only Ukrainian – our mother language.

It was a completely new environment for her, but I was surprised how quickly she adapted with your help. Ms Vann was her first teacher and with the kind support of her teacher, Yary enjoyed school from the first day and quickly picked up both languages. I was impressed by her ability to perform at the first year-end concert with her classmates. The teachers encouraged her to make friends and have fun. Ms Mariyana, her second teacher put a lot of attention to her education and emotional intelligence. All the reports I received were well documented and showed her progress.

Her teacher in the final year was Ms Joanna and she helped Yary improve her English reading and writing skills, as well as her communication and presenting skills. As the parent, I was always well informed about all coming events and any questions I had were answered within a few minutes.

I really appreciate how much effort you put in to build a great education program, which is oriented on the future professions such as AI and Robotics. All the parent’s workshops contained a lot of useful information and gave clarity on what to expect in each semester.

Please thank all the teachers, whom I did not list in this email. I wish you all the best in the future and will recommend ChildFirst to my friends.

From Tetiana and Yaryna Kodliuk
